46 new cars of the brands “Lada”, “Niva”, UAZ and “GAZelle” were handed over to the fleet of the regional Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. 18 of them came from the regional administration.
According to the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Nikolai Skokov, the new cars will serve to solve operational tasks to ensure the protection of order and the safety of residents, as well as to identify and solve crimes. They will increase the efficiency of police work in the fight against violators of the law and public order and will allow them to respond more quickly to people’s appeals.
Transport will be sent to the duty units, operational and security-convoy units, the service of district commissioners. The cars have passed the technical inspection, they are equipped with everything necessary for work and are ready for operation in difficult conditions.
This is the third time this year that the police fleet has been replenished with new vehicles. This is happening as part of the renovation of the transport of the internal affairs bodies.
