A video posted online by the Algerian army showed 3 Russian-made tank support vehicles traveling through the dunes.
It is noteworthy that the media reported last year, citing information provided by the Stockholm International Institute for the Study of World Issues, that Algeria had purchased 300 Russian-made tank support vehicles. This is after the leak of photographs of those yellow vehicles taken in Algeria.
The majority of experts expressed their conviction that the “Terminator” (tank killer) vehicle is perfectly suitable for use in the desert, including in anti-terror operations.
It is worth mentioning that the “Terminator” tank support vehicle is armed with two 30mm automatic guns 2A42 and two automatic grenade launchers of the AGI-17D type, which can be used against both armored vehicles and manpower. Anti-tank fired to a distance of 6 kilometers.
The vehicle’s shooting is controlled by an automatic system dedicated to monitoring the battlefield and determining the coordinates of targets in various weather conditions, day and night.
Moreover, “Terminator” is characterized by superior maneuverability.
