The Kremlin is ready for a joint press conference with Joe Biden, but no decision has yet been made on its holding. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov in an interview with CNN.
“We have heard about such a possibility from our American colleagues, but we are still awaiting final confirmation. From the very beginning, President Putin was open to various options,” the TV channel quoted Peskov as saying on Friday.
The spokesman for the Russian president added that Putin is going to Geneva because “relations between Russia and the United States are bad,” and not to be in the same room with Biden.
