“Sputnik V” costs about 900 rubles including delivery, all this is paid for by the state today, “he said.
The minister stressed that in total, more than 30 million doses of Sputnik V have already been purchased for the vaccination of Russians.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade explained to Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the purchase of this drug, like other vaccines against coronavirus, is carried out in accordance with the price registered with the Federal Antimonopoly Service. In total, 4 vaccines against coronavirus have been registered today: Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona, KoviVac and Sputnik Light.
So, on May 17, FAS agreed on the maximum selling price for Sputnik Light. It will amount to 342.36 rubles excluding VAT per dose. Also, the cost for one dose of EpiVacCorona was previously set at 842 rubles, KoviVak – 866 rubles and Sputnik V – 866.81 rubles.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade reminded that one only needs to be vaccinated with the Sputnik Light vaccine once, the rest of the vaccines are administered at least twice with an interval of two weeks or more in order for the body to develop a full immune response, so at least two doses of the drug are required per person.
