The Government of the Russian Federation has developed a draft law on a mobile application store, which has already been submitted to the State Duma. It is assumed that the Russian analogue of the App Store and Google Play will be installed on technical devices without fail.
As Mash.City wrote, forced installation will ensure the security and stable operation of services for Russians, as well as save the country’s budget. Soon, foreign app stores in Russia may stop working.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke for the first time about creating his own App Store. At the moment, there are several stores with applications in Russia, including NashStore, RuMarket and RuStore.
