The Saudi “Al-Ikhbariya” broadcasts a video of a cafe in a prison with “international specifications”… and Lina Al-Hathloul comments

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)– The Saudi “Al-Ekhbariya” channel broadcast a video clip, saying that “a cafe with international standards in the Terminal Prison was a dream for an inmate achieved by the Presidency of State Security in the Kingdom.”

In the video, a broadcaster appears, saying that “in the midst of the smell of coffee and the sound of roasting coffee, the prisoners drink their coffee, whether it is of Colombian or Ethiopian origin, to share the lute and its melodies, and they complete their evening.”

He added that “this café with its international specifications is part of the prisoner’s dream, who used to work in one of the largest cafés in the Qassim region.”

In a related context, Lina Al-Hathloul, the sister of Saudi activist Loujain Al-Hathloul, posted the video on her Twitter account, commenting: “You friends, do people believe you? Allow independent institutions to enter and supervise the prison first, and then you can try to shine.”
