The State Duma proposed to introduce an unconditional basic income in Russia

In Russia, they propose to introduce an unconditional basic income of 10 thousand rubles. State Duma deputies intend to apply to the government with such an initiative.

According to the calculations of the Just Russia faction, up to 18 trillion rubles will be allocated annually for this. Their colleagues in parliament agree that payments are needed, but they note that it is necessary to clearly calculate the financing plan. The expert community believes that such expenses cannot yet be realized due to budget constraints.

Speaking at SPIEF, Head of the Accounts Chamber of Russia Alexey Kudrin stated that the payment of an unconditional basic income for every Russian in the future will become a reality. News
