The Sudanese Security and Defense Council issues a number of decisions to “impose the prestige of the state”

Today, Sunday, the Sudanese Security and Defense Council issued a number of decisions, saying that they would achieve security and stability, impose the prestige of the state and the rule of law.

After the meeting of the Security and Defense Council headed by Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Ezz El-Din Al-Sheikh, said that the meeting discussed the events of the third of June, in reference to the marches in Khartoum, the current events in South Darfur, and the events of Khor Barnaga area in West Darfur State, western Sudan.

Al-Sheikh added, “During the meeting, a number of directives were issued to the states’ security committees and the technical committee,” noting that the decisions and directives will be implemented on the ground in a way that enhances security and imposes the prestige of the state.
