BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15Trend: There are few green spaces in Baku today.
Head of the State Agency for Ecological Expertise of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mirsalam Ganbarov, said this in the Expert Hour program, Trend reports on Tuesday.
According to him, although in recent years work has been carried out to increase the area of green spaces, their area is not yet within the norm.
“It is considered a generally accepted norm when 33 percent of the city is covered with green spaces, which are still few in our country. These areas need to be increased,” Ganbarov said.
