UEFA released on its social networks this Thursday the team of the week for the first four games of the quarterfinals of the Champions League. The Brazilians Marquinhos, Neymar and Vinícius Jr. were selected in the assembled team.
Marquinhos scored a goal in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-2 win over Bayern Munich and was important defensively while on the pitch, before getting injured in the first leg. Vinícius was the protagonist in the victory of Real Madrid against Liverpool by 3 to 1, being very participative and scoring two goals. Neymar was also decisive in the victory of PSG, giving two assists, both in the first half.

Other prominent names appeared as Mason Mount (Chelsea), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) and Kylian Mbappé (PSG). The big surprise was Edouard Mendy elected goalkeeper of the week, in view of the match that Kaylor Navas played against Bayern, helping PSG to defend itself in the moments of pressure from the Bavarian team.
