BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 20Trend: In January-March 2021, Turkey increased the export of cars to Iran by 18.2 percent compared to the same period last year – up to $ 22.553 million.
This was reported to Trend by the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
In March, Turkish car exports to Iran grew 8.4 times compared to the same month in 2020 and amounted to $ 6.364 million.
Turkey in January-March as a whole increased the export of cars by 10.2 percent compared to the same period last year – up to $ 7.69 billion.
In March, Turkey exported cars worth $ 2.892 billion to world markets, which is 40.4 percent more than in the same month of 2020.
Turkish car exports in 12 months (March 2020 – March 2021) amounted to $ 26.259 billion.
