Ukrainian border service denies Lukashenka’s words about arms supplies from Ukraine

The head of the State Border Service of Ukraine (State Border Guard Service) Sergei Deyneko denied the words of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko about the supply of weapons from Ukraine. Deineko said that the information was not confirmed by anything.

“In my memory, this happened at least three times over the past two years, when Lukashenka personally stated that weapons were illegally supplied to Belarus from the territory of Ukraine. In none of the cases was this information confirmed by anything,” Deineko said in an interview with RBK- Ukraine”.

He added that he applied for evidence of Lukashenka’s words to the head of the State Border Committee of Belarus.

“And no explanations or facts were given to me. I believe that there is no need to pay attention to this at all. Border protection in the Belarusian sector has been strengthened, but I don’t see threats there at the moment,” Deineko said.
