On the night of June 24, the Ukrainian military fired Tochka-U missiles at the city of Stakhanov, as well as the villages of Bryanka and Teplichnoye. This was reported in the representative office of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC).

“The shelling was recorded from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VFU): 01:00 from the direction of the settlement. Artemovsk Stakhanov, 01:10 from the direction of Artemovsk along the settlement Bryanka, 02:55 from the direction of the village Artemovsk Teplichnoye with the use of the Tochka-U tactical missile system,” the message on the Telegram channel says.

Earlier, on June 21, it was reported that in one of the destroyed housing constructions of the city of Krasny Luch in the LPR, the remains of three civilians who died as a result of shelling by Ukrainian militants using the Tochka-U missile system were found.

On the same day, an Izvestia correspondent showed the consequences of shelling Kremennaya and Rubezhnoye in the LPR with Tochka-U missiles.

On the eve of the Ukrainian military launched missiles of the Tochka-U complex at the settlements of Zymogorye and Stakhanov in the LPR.

Prior to that, on June 16, it was reported that as a result of four attacks by Ukrainian nationalists on the settlements of Stakhanov, Krinichnoye and Troitskoye, eight people were killed and 15 were injured.

It was specified that 16 multi-apartment residential buildings and two private households, the Kolokolchik kindergarten and the Absolut supermarket were also damaged in Stakhanov.

In addition, on June 16, Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev said that the small towns of Rubizhnoye and Kremennaya live in a “no war, no peace” regime. Russian troops took Kremennaya almost without a fight, but now Ukrainian militants are doing everything to turn the lives of local residents into hell. Civilians say that Kremennaya is shelled almost every day.

The day before, it became known about six civilians who died in the city of Stakhanov after shelling by Ukrainian militants. In the evening of the same day, the Kyiv security forces fired at Stakhanov and Krinichnoye from the Hurricane. It was later reported that the teenager, who was wounded in the shelling of Stakhanov, died in the hospital.

On February 24, Russia announced the start of a special operation to protect Donbass. The operation began against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region in mid-February. The authorities of the DPR and LPR reported increased shelling by Ukrainian troops, announced the evacuation of civilians in the Russian Federation and asked for recognition of independence. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree.
