According to him, several military vehicles blocked the road to a group of cars of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Janzur Street in the capital. According to preliminary data, the protection of the Interior Minister arrested two people, one of the attackers was killed.
Libya TV channel Libya 24 reported that one of the minister’s guards was wounded, and Bashaga himself was not injured as a result of the incident.
As pointed out by Al-Marsad, the cause of the incident was the uncoordinated departure of military vehicles at the intersection, which at that moment was passing the motorcade of the head of the Libyan Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At present, a state of emergency has been declared at the Libyan National Tax Service Ministry of Internal Affairs, and a military helicopter is circling over the scene of the incident.
