Various routes are being prepared
Ski routes will appear in Losiny Ostrov in the near future. Specialists will prepare cross-country snow tracks for both beginners and experienced skiers.
As MK found out, in Losiny Ostrov they started preparing ski routes. Specialists are clearing the area, installing navigation, and as a stable snow cover forms, they will begin to lay the track with the help of special equipment.
Guests of the national park who have good sports training will be able to try their hand at the Bolshaya Losinoostrovskaya ski track. This is a 25-kilometer circular route through the Moscow part of the park, which will connect four districts of the Eastern and North-Eastern districts of Moscow.
The ski track starts near the entrance group at the Belokamennaya MCC station – this is done for the comfort of visitors who want to come skiing to Losiny Ostrov from anywhere in Moscow.
The main ski track runs along the flat terrain of the landscape glades of the Yauza Forest Park. It is laid next to the road-path network. If necessary, skiers will be able to leave the race and continue walking in the status of pedestrians.
For beginner skiers, shorter runs are prepared – 3 and 12 kilometers. An information center has been installed near the MCC Belokamennaya, and athletes will also be able to change clothes in a warm room, drink hot tea and just relax.
